Incredible route runner for a tight end. Crisp breaks, body control, large catch radius all make him a nightmare to cover. Has great hands to pair with his fantastic length for the position. Willing blocker and not afraid of contact. | Enters the NFL with a long medical history. Needs to win with his hands more at the line of scrimmage. Would get off balance while trying to use his bigger frame to stave off rushers. |
OVERVIEW: Very few players improved their draft stock more during the week of the Senior Bowl than the Frisco, Texas, product. Arroyo was dynamic in the passing game, looked the part of an NFL tight end and was one of the top overall performers. Prior to his impressive week in Mobile, Arroyo spent four injury-riddled seasons with the Hurricanes, earning All-ACC honors during a breakout redshirt junior season. He finished with 35 catches, 590 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as part of the most explosive offense in college football.
