Depending on the snap, there’s no telling where he’ll be because he lines up everywhere. Quick off the line of scrimmage, sharp route runner, and a hands catcher who allows for a large catch radius. Big play threat as well. | Thin for the tight end position. He was used like a receiver more than an effective in-line blocker. Lumbers with the football in his hands. Appears off balance at times and lacks twitch. |
OVERVIEW: Clemson's all-time leader in career receptions by a tight end (127), Briningstool was a featured part of the Tigers' offensive picture and was honored with an All-ACC nod during his final two seasons. Ninety-nine of his 127 receptions were during those two years, and he set Clemson's single-game tight-end receiving record against Miami in 2023. There has been a track record of teams using slender-built tight ends to their advantage, but Briningstool will need to showcase a wide skill set and a willingness to get into the weight room to have success.
