Smooth runner and extremely nimble for his 6-foot-3 frame. Lined up all over the line of scrimmage and had just as much success out of the slot as he did on the boundary. Was recruited as a quarterback so still new to the position. | With the position switch, he’s still polishing the fundamental aspects of his game. Route running shows some wasted movement and takes time getting off the line against press coverage. |
OVERVIEW: It's tough to remain under the radar after leading the FBS in receptions (104), receiving yards (1,382) and receiving touchdowns (16), but that's exactly the case here. If Nash would've achieved those numbers in the SEC or Big Ten, he'd be a consensus top-five pick. However, he played six seasons with the Spartans in the Mountain West and established himself as an elite receiver after beginning his career as a quarterback. He's the fourth player to ever win the FBS Triple Crown and has some NFL traits to be interested in, which he showed during Shrine Bowl week.
