CANTON, Ohio – The only Cowboys rookie draft pick not on the field for Sunday's Hall of Fame Game may be back sooner than initially anticipated.

Wide receiver Terrance Williams, who came down awkwardly after going up for a pass during the Cowboys' last practice before the preseason game against the Dolphins, may be able to practice this week.

Williams fell on his back and appeared to be getting checked for a concussion on the sidelines before leaving for the day. He didn't play in Sunday's game.

Head coach Jason Garrett said he thinks the team will get Williams back this week.

"We'll take it day by day, but we don't think what he has is a serious issue," Garrett said as he walked off the field in Canton.

Williams said the night before the Hall of Fame Game that he would be fine. The Cowboys' next preseason game is four days away against the Raiders on Aug. 9, so Williams would need to get back quickly to be ready for that.
