Test Results On Tyron Smith's Knee Encouraging, But Game Status Uncertain

FRISCO, Texas –Tyron Smith's knee injury makes his availability a question mark for Sunday's game against Seattle, but the Cowboys "will see how his week goes," team owner/general manager Jerry Jones said.

"We're rewarded that the MRI and the X-rays didn't show as severe damage as it certainly might have," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. "He'll be looking forward trying to get back.

"He knows we're down to these last two ball games. So we'll be taking a look at it."

Smith limped off the field in the second half against the Raiders and did not return. Byron Bell replaced him at left tackle.

Smith missed two games in November with a groin injury, and a back ailment has bothered him periodically this season.
