IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys added a few intriguing pieces to this already-talented puzzle in the last few weeks.
While Byron Jones is the only first-round pick of the new class, and free-agent tackle La'el Collins could be the biggest steal of the offseason, the Cowboys are just as excited about landing Randy Gregory with the 60th overall pick.
The second-round selection has definite first-round talent, but dropped because of off-the-field concerns that scared away all 32 teams at least once. But the Cowboys couldn't pass on him a second time around, and jumped at the chance to get a pass-rushing specialist such as Gregory in the second round.
The Cowboys have given Gregory the No. 94, a sign they think he has the potential to be as good as guys like DeMarcus Ware and Charley Haley.
But just where will Gregory rank among Cowboys' second-round picks? Larry Allen and Darren Woodson are two of the best in team history, but take a look at the Top 10 second-rounders ever drafted by Dallas, as voted on by the writers of DallasCowboys.com
