On the day the entire country is focused on perhaps another election, Cowboys fans can at least cast their votes for their favorite rookies.
In what is becoming a weekly ordeal now, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are again among the finalists for a couple of the NFL's weekly awards.
Prescott, who had a career-high 141.8 quarterback rating thanks to three touchdown passes, is one of five finalists for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week Award. Joining him on the list is Elliott, who rushed for two touchdowns along with 92 yards.
The other finalists include Saints receiver Michael Thomas, Giants safety Andrew Adams and Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake.
Fans can vote for one of these five players on www.nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 2 p.m. (CT) to determine the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK. The PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEKwill be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
But Prescott has a chance for two awards as the rookie quarterback is among four finalists for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week.
Other nominees include Detroit's Golden Tate, Miami's Kenyan Drake, Eli Manning of the Giants and San Diego's Melvin Gordon.
Fans may vote for one of these five performers on www.nfl.com/castrol-edge through Friday at 2 p.m. (CT) to determine the CASTROL EDGE CLUTCH PERFORMER OF THE WEEK. The winner will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and then posted on NFL.com.
