IRVING, Texas --DeMarcus Ware said he sat out of Wednesday's practice as a precaution after suffering a stinger against the Cardinals, but will be ready for Sunday's division showdown with the Giants.
"They told me it's best just to stay out and be ready for Sunday," said Ware, who played 49 of 56 plays in the 19-13 loss and finished the game. "I'll be out tomorrow full blast."
Ware's one sack against Arizona regained the NFL lead at 15.0, a half-sack ahead of Minnesota's Jared Allen (14.5). Ware needs eight over the last four games to break Michael Strahan's single-season league record of 22.5.
