The book, being published by Thomas Nelson, was unveiled this week at the Stadium Club in Texas Stadium, where several of the Cowboys players and coaches from those not-so-long-ago days were on hand, including Daryl Johnston, Nate Newton, Chad Hennings and Joe Avezzano. Also on hand was long-time broadcaster Pat Summerall, who is quoted on the jacket of this coffee-table book saying, "Of the dynasties over the last 50 years, I have to go with those Dallas Cowboys as the best of them all. They had it all . . . and then some."

None of those five players seemed as if they were getting any closer to practicing, and Phillips basically has said Glenn is unlikely to play in either of the final two preseason games. Battle was last seen walking around in a boot, which usually signifies a high ankle sprain.
