Hey Cowboys Fans!

I am so excited to be able to experience this year as a Captain for the best dance team in the NFL! This will be my 4th season with Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue.

I was born in Fort Bragg, California, but I was raised in Harlingen, Texas. I had a late start to dance and did one year of studio training at Danzforce Academy. I then was a member of the SFA Dance Teams for 4 years and became captain my senior year. I am a 4x NDA National Champion, and I also had the privilege to help earn the SFA Dance Teams 2 more championships as their Assistant Coach in 2021. I am a first-generation graduate and received my bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Dance Education, Kinesiology & Health Science and minor in General Business. I love sharing my passion by teaching and choreographing!

I am beyond grateful to call myself a dancer for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue and get the opportunity to dance with amazing individuals! Huge thank you to all the people that have believed in me and have followed my journey thus far. I cannot wait to dance my heart out with my new family!!!

Prior Dance/Entertainment Industry Experience: I was a member of the SFA Dance Teams for 4 years!

Nicknames: My family nickname is Coco, but some people also just call me Jess.

Hometown: Harlingen, Texas is my hometown.

I dance because: I dance because it gives me purpose. It gives me the power and confidence to believe in myself.

What I like to do most besides dance is: I love to sing! I also found a new passion in weight training.

I've always wanted to: I always wanted to be a backup dancer for an artist.

Advice to youngsters: My advice to the youth is for you to know you are worth it and because you are someone is always willing to help! I would like to remind the youth that they are truly limitless and can accomplish anything they set their mind too! Let your individuality be your superpower.

My biggest role model: My biggest role model is my mother. Being a single mother and raising two kids as a housekeeper has given us our obstacles, but she has never left our side. She inspires me to keep working hard every day! She moved to this country at age 16 from Tampico, Mexico and has sacrificed so much so we can chase our dreams!

What I enjoy most about being a DCRB Dancer: What I am enjoying most about being a DCR&B Dancer is that I am growing and being pushed to be the best artist, athlete, and person I can be! I am grateful to have the chance to share my story and inspire others to chase their dreams as well.

Favorite Cowboys player past and present: My favorite past player is Tony Romo, and my favorite present player now is Dak Prescott!
