I dance because: Dance allows me the creative freedom to be my unapologetic self! I'm an energetic, extroverted, ball of energy and while that may not be everyone's cup of tea that's what allows me to shine on the dance floor.

What I like to do most besides dance is: When I'm not dancing or teaching dance I like to travel, listen to true crime podcasts, and wedding plan with my fiancé.

I've always wanted to: I've always wanted to travel to Africa – literally anywhere on the continent. South Africa is on the top of my fiancé's and I's list for honeymoon destinations.

Advice to Youngsters: As cheesy as it sounds it's true that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Always put yourself out there when it comes to opportunities to learn and grow because that's the only way you'll get better. Also don't forget to diversify your skillset! What other styles can you do? What can you do other than dance? Find what sets you apart and run with it!

My biggest role model is: My mom is my biggest role model because of all the sacrifices she made as a single mom of 5. She inspired me to pursue higher education, she's my biggest cheerleader, and she's always pushed me to dare to be different and not conform to societal standards or expectations.

What I enjoy most about being a DCRB Dancer is: So far it's the community of the team. Before I even officially made it I felt so comfortable reaching out to vets for help. I respect them and they respect me. There's no ego or superiority complex and I love that. We're all in this together!

Favorite Cowboys player past or present: Mr. "Prime Time" aka Deion Sanders is my favorite Cowboys player. From his stellar work ethic to his bold personality, he is a true inspiration.

Favorite Performer: My Mount Rushmore of performers are Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Usher, and James Brown! Honorable mentions are Janet Jackson and Bruno Mars. It's impossible to pick just one.

Favorite Music: I love oldies with my favorite being disco/funk! But on the daily you can catch me listening to R&B from any decade dating all the pay back to the 50s and 60s.
