Brett Maxie joined the Cowboys Scouting Department in 2017 as a college scout after serving as an intern in the department for two years.
In his role, Maxie is assigned area scout duties while also continuing to work in-house, helping with scouting operations.
While an intern in the department, Maxie assisted in the evaluation and scouting of upcoming opponents while also helping the complete college scouting process leading up to the NFL Draft.
The Metairie, La., native received his bachelor's degree in communications from Kent State in 2014, while also playing quarterback for the school's football team.
Maxie's father, Brett, coached defensive backs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2016-18) and Dallas Cowboys (2008-11) and is currently the defensive passing game coordinator at the University of Colorado.
