Dylan Keane originally joined the Dallas Cowboys organization in 2008, assisting in the equipment room of the Dallas Desperados. He became a part of the Dallas Cowboys equipment staff leading up to the 2009 season as an equipment intern.

In 2012 Keane became an equipment assistant, a position he held for nine seasons before being elevated to assistant equipment manager prior to the 2022 campaign.

Before landing with the Dallas Cowboys, Keane worked as a service technician for Jonmar Services.

Born in Lubbock, Texas, Keane went to high school in nearby Rockwall and attended classes at the University of North Texas.
