Eric Ellingworth came to the Dallas Cowboys in 2019 as a college scout after serving one season as a scouting assistant with the N.Y. Jets. Ellingworth scouts the southeast. While with the Jets, Ellingworth scouted both the college and pro ranks.
Before his season with the Jets, Ellingworth was an offensive graduate assistant at the University of Florida (2015-17). In his time with the Gators, Ellingworth assisted in coaching wide receivers and quarterbacks, scouted incoming players, assisted in offensive game plan meetings and prepared both opponent and self-scouting reports on a weekly basis.
Ellingworth was a three-year starting wide receiver at Augustana University where he earned four letters and helped the school advance to the 2010 NCAA DII National Quarterfinals.
Ellingworth earned his degree in social studies education and business administration from Augustana and his master's in curriculum & instruction from Florida.
