We started our podcast looking for a ray of sunshine on this rainy day, and after going through some of the key mistakes the Cowboys made in the loss to Atlanta, an even darker cloud came through with news Dak Prescott's hamstring injury will reportedly keep him out for "multiple weeks."

On Football Friday, the guys get you ready for Cowboys-Falcons, after a little Halloween and Jets talk that turned the Cowboys potential dilemma at cornerback, an injury update, the trade deadline along with Falcons offensive stars. Oh, and picks and picks to click.

With Nate filling in for Everson, great debate on the Cowboys needing to run the ball more against the Niners, the amount of pressure defenses are on putting on Dak, the Cowboys inability to stop the run and just why Trevon Diggs likely was on his phone immediately after the loss to San Francisco.

So much to talk about, but no matter what else happened in the loss to San Francisco, the poor play in the third quarter was the difference in the game. In fact, at 30-24 and the Cowboys with the ball, the guys tase Everson that he might have needed to meet the charter flight back home if the Cowboys produced their own "Catch" to win the game.

Then a rant on the missing Everson Walls moving up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Seniors category.

With Nate sitting in again, the guys give a lot to think about, thanks to Jerry, hidden reason why Derek Henry is not here, how good the Ravens really are, San Fran injury situation, update on Cowboys injuries and the five-game road ahead.

The Cowboys return from their bye, and after brief college football talk, the guys with Nate aboard turned their attention to the 49ers, just how good Patrick Mahomes is, the Cowboys offensive line run blocking and how quarterbacks can take over games.

With Nick Harris filling in on our mixed bag show with Bill and Mickey, the guys point out their positions of concern going forward, short of knowing this team must get healthy. Then some draft review and the great need for this offense to get going like last season.

With the lineup change, Kurt Daniels joins Bill and Mickey, and they had a good time reviewing the owner Jerry Jones morning radio segment and trying to be reasonable about the Cowboys hitting the bye at 3-3. What the assistants had to say and some injury updates.

The injuries continue to pile up. Bad enough the Cowboys will be without Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, but now No. 2 receiver Brandin Cooks will miss the Pittsburgh game. So just who will be taking their places, and a little history on newcomer DE K.J. Henry and what happens at wide receiver.

After a brief discussion of win over the Giants, the guys moved on to Cowboys roster moves after visual evidence of injuries suffered by Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence. Then a little Goff perfection, the Steelers up next, that Pittsburgh history, head coach Mike Tomlin and the Steelers QB situation.

A Victory Friday after the Cowboys 20-15 win over the NY Giants on Thursday night and just how huge this win is for the Cowboys. So many parts to pulling even at 2-2, between the DBs and LBs recognition to Mazi Smith's improved play and the three offensive stars of the game.

So much to deal with, the Cowboys inability to stop the run, quick look at rookie QB Jayden Daniels, telling players to worry about themselves, Nate's soft rebuild, need to compete against an improving Giants team and defense needing to play better on first down. Oh, picks and picks to click, too.
