IRVING, Texas – With every interview DeMarco Murray has done this year, he seemingly starts them all off by crediting his offensive line.
Whether it's a quote that includes "it all starts up front" or simply just crediting the linemen for opening up the holes, Murray has been very vocal when it comes to dishing out the credit.
Well, he apparently dished out more than that. On Wednesday, all five of the Cowboys' starting offensive linemen had brand-new iMac computers sitting in their lockers.
Only five were visible in the locker room, sitting in the spaces of Tyron Smith, Doug Free, Zack Martin, Travis Frederick and Ron Leary. Backup Jermey Parnell, who started last week, or the tight ends who have been an integral part of the blocking schemes, did not have the computers in their lockers.
Still, it was quite a gesture to the usual starting five.
"It was pretty nice," said Martin, who admitted he had no idea the gift was coming. "We just walked in and he gave them to us. It was pretty cool."
[embeddedad0]Murray is leading the NFL in rushing by a wide margin and on pace to rush for over 2,000 yards. His 913 yards is nearly 300 ahead of Houston's Arian Foster (615), who ranks second in the league.
Last week, Murray became the first player in NFL history to begin a season with seven straight 100-yard games, surpassing the mark of six consecutive 100-yard games by Hall of Famer Jim Brown.
