Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Celebrate the Release of their 2015 Calendar Products
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Squad gathered together with an exclusive list of sponsors and partners at the Gaylord Texan's Glass Cactus Friday to celebrate the nation-wide release of their 2015 calendars. Images for the 5 different calendar formats as well as the Swimsuit issue of Star Magazine, and the one hour "Behind the Scenes" television special, were shot in, and around, Cancun, Mexico last April.
The 53 person production crew was based at the Iberostar Cancun Resort. Each day of the week long project 2 photography teams, 2 video crews and 2 vans of DCC would pull out before dawn to capture America's Sweethearts in the spectacular settings of Cancun and Quintana Roo – from Isla Blanc in the north to Puerto Morelos in the south, even going seaborne to picturesque Isla Mujeres.
"The Dallas Cowboys are in the team business," said Kelli Finglass, Director of the DCC, "and, no one understands more than our organization how critical each contribution is to the achievement of our goals. Everyone here tonight has played a role in this Victory we call the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders calendar."
Joining the DCC for the festivities are government officials from Quintana Roo, the members of the production teams, executives from Iberostar (lodging) and AmStar (ground transportation and logistics), representatives of DCC partners and Cowboys sponsors.
The Dallas Cowboys Star Swimsuit edition was published in June, the calendars are available nationwide, and at Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop stores and online portal. The Making of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders 2015 Calendar TV special will air on the Dallas Cowboys Network in December.
