FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys Week 17 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles has been flexed out of the 3:25 CT time slot and will now kickoff at noon on FOX instead.
The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings take over the 3:25 kickoff slot in their place.
The Cowboys have officially been eliminated from playoff contention and are winners of four of their last five games as they look to play spoiler for teams going into the final two games of the season.
Philadelphia still has a lot to play for as well. After losing to the Commanders on Sunday, they missed the opportunity to clinch the NFC East with what would have been their eleventh straight win. Instead, they'll have to beat the Cowboys or have the Atlanta Falcons beat Washington on Sunday to win the division.
It's a rivalry game that still holds weight for the Cowboys and especially Micah Parsons, who didn't hold back when talking about the Eagles last week.
"Even if we got eliminated, like, I got to crush Philly… I hate them now," Parsons said. "I be seeing them just talking so much on socials. I don't know, my Twitter page got consumed by Philly [fans]. Man, ugh. They say don't look forward to some things, but I'm excited about the matchup too."
The Cowboys lost their first game to Philadelphia at AT&T Stadium back in Week 10, falling 34-6 to an Eagles defense that held Cooper Rush to just 45 passing yards in his first start of the season in place of Dak Prescott.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 14 of his 20 passing attempts for 202 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in their first meeting this season. Hurts missed most of Philadelphia's game on Sunday after suffering a concussion in the first quarter, and Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni did not have an update on his condition following the game.
Kenny Pickett took over in Hurts' place the rest of the way, throwing for 143 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Pickett had x-rays done following the game on his ribs, but told reporters he thinks he'll be available on Sunday.
Regardless, the Eagles quarterback situation is one to monitor as the week goes on with Hurts having to clear the NFL's concussion protocol before being able to return to practice.
