Cowboys-Saints: How to Watch, Listen, Stream

09_13_HTW

FRISCO, Texas — Although you wouldn't know it to look at it, but owning a 2-0 record to begin the season greatly increases the chances of a team making the NFL playoffs versus middling with a 1-1 record heading into Week 3. That's what the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints are up against early in the 2024 season when they square off in North Texas on Sunday.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys' offense got off to a hot start in the opener against the Cleveland Browns but cooled noticeably in the second half, though their defensive counterparts — led by Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, Trevon Diggs and a maniacal effort from linebackers Eric Kendricks and DeMarvion Overshown — never took their foot off of the proverbial gas.

WHEN AND WHERE:

Date: Sunday, Sept. 15
Time: Noon CT
Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)

Zack Martin said this week is about regaining the mentality to go for the "kill shot" when the offense has the chance, and they'll need to keep that energy against a very talented Saints defense that features names like Cameron Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu and Marshon Lattimore.

Meanwhile, Parsons and Co. will have their hands full with an offense led by Derek Carr that hung 47 points on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 — the Cowboys looking to re-establish their dominance at home to wash the bad taste out of their mouths from the previous outing at AT&T Stadium, when the Green Bay Packers dismissed them from the playoffs.

There's more than enough motivation for the Cowboys to send the Saints marching home with a loss, but nothing indicates it'll be easy.

Buckle up, folks.
