The bye week came early for the Dallas Cowboys this season. The break-in-action gave the team time to rest, regenerate and get ready for the last 11 weeks of the NFL regular season.
But quarterback Dak Prescott had additional plans. The Cowboys' signal caller took to social media on October 18 to announce - in a carousel of photos - his proposal to his girlfriend Sarah Jane while the two were playing golf.
Included in the carousel was an image of their daughter's shirt that read: "Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you".
The carousel concluded with photos of the family of three celebrating the engagement with sushi. Found in the comment section was a plethora of congratulations from many current and former teammates along with players from across the league.
