The time has officially come for the season 13 finale of "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team!" It's been a season of ups and downs, filled with ton of emotion, and the finale is no different. Buckle up because there will be tears shed as the last cuts are made and the squad is finally announced!
The finale episode kicks off at AT&T Stadium with the final night of training camp. There are still 38 women remaining with two cuts needing to be made to get to the final roster of 36. Five days out from the first preseason game, there's no more room for mistakes as the girls are literally dancing for their spots on the squad.
Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell have game day expectations. They run a full game day rehearsal at game day speed, seeing who's actually ready so they can make the best decisions. After watching the rehearsal and comparing it to what they've seen all training camp, Kelli and Judy are prepared to make their final cuts.
Once the final cuts have been made, Charlotte Jones Anderson makes a surprise visit and has the honor of announcing that everyone remaining has made the squad for the 2018-2019 season. After so many hugs, screams and tears of joy, the training camp candidates are officially rookies and receive their custom tailored DCC uniform. They finally earned the iconic 15 stars and white boots.
The team participates in their first squad performance a couple of days later at 'Meet the Team,' a full game day production rehearsal in uniform! This is the first time they will be performing as a team in front of an audience, and it's even more special because that audience is filled with their family and friends. Talk about making a great first impression!
To cap off 'Meet the Team,' the girls get their first look at the new locker room with their cameo photos and personalized lockers! A true culmination of having your designated spot on the team.
Finishing out the episode is the first preseason game at AT&T Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys took on the Cincinnati Bengals. Follow the squad along on the bus ride to the stadium, through rehearsals, and the actual game day. There are a few unforeseen curve balls thrown in there with injuries and illnesses, a test to how this team can make changes on the fly. But more than anything, it's a day of celebration watching dreams finally come true.
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on CMT.
