FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys had three players named to the Associated Press' All-Pro teams on Friday. KaVontae Turpin earned first team All-Pro honors, with Brandon Aubrey and CeeDee Lamb getting second-team nods.

Turpin is the only first-time All-Pro for the Cowboys in 2024 after his best season yet as a specialist. He recorded his first career kickoff and punt return touchdowns in 2024, along with leading the NFL in kickoff return yardage with 904 yards on 27 returns.

"Competitive, I'm a little guy, 5'9, 150 pounds going out there and competing on a big level with the big guys," Turpin said when asked what stood out about himself on his journey to the NFL. "I'm just competitive, I go out there and compete no matter what the circumstances."

Turpin becomes the first Cowboys return specialist in franchise history to net first-team AP honors.

Being a first team All-Pro is the latest addition to Turpin's growing list of accolades from the 2024 season, as he was voted an NFLPA All-Pro kick returner by his peers earlier in the week and will go to his second Pro Bowl in as many years.

Lamb has now earned All-Pro honors in three straight seasons, two second team honors in 2022 and 2024, with a first team nomination in 2023. In 15 games this season, Lamb reeled in 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns before missing the final two games of the year with a shoulder injury that he was battling all year long.

"Trying to play as hard as I can, I'm obviously putting myself out there for the benefit of the team," Lamb said of playing through the pain. "And of course myself I love to compete, but it's bigger than me."

He also etched himself further into the Cowboys receiver history books in those 15 games, becoming the first wide out in franchise history to record four 1,000 yard receiving seasons in his first five years in the league. Additionally, Lamb surpassed Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for the fourth most yards from scrimmage in their first five NFL seasons.

Since coming to the NFL in 2023, Brandon Aubrey has been dominant as the Cowboys kicker and was recognized for that again with his second straight All-Pro honor. Aubrey broke his own record for most field goals in a season by a Cowboy with 40 in 2024, becoming just the fifth kicker in NFL history to make 40 field goals in a season.

"I've got a great coaching staff that believes in me and is willing to send me out there with no hesitation…" Aubrey said earlier this season. "They allow me to play with great confidence and just cut it free and kick the ball."

Aubrey did not miss on an extra point this season and made 14 of his 17 attempts from 50 or more yards, including one miss on what would've been an NFL record 70-yard attempt. He also put through a 65-yarder in Week 3 against the Ravens, surpassing his previous career longest kick of 60 yards from 2023.
