The Cowboys will be without running back Ezekiel Elliott for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
The team has decided he would not be active for the game and made the decision not to have him travel to Atlanta on Saturday.
Elliott started the game scored the Cowboys' first touchdown last week in San Francisco. But with Rico Dowdle expected to play, and Dalvin Cook elevated again from the practice squad, those two are likely to get the bulk of the carries on Sunday.
Elliott has 149 rushing yards this year on 48 carries (3.1 avg) with two touchdowns.
The Cowboys are last in the NFL in rushing at 74.1 yards per game.
Elliott is the Cowboys' third-leading rusher and has 9,053 career rushing yards in nine pro seasons.
