The Dallas Cowboys used their first of three third round selections (75th overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft to select Osa Odighizuwa, fortifying their interior pass rush on the defensive line. A seasoned collegiate player, Odighizuwa made an immediate impact as a rookie, starting 12 of the 16 games he played, coming right out of the gates as one of Dallas' starting interior linemen. By season's end, Odighizuwa garnered 34 tackles, four for losses, 2.0 sacks and 12 hurries. Odighizuwa upped his game in his second season, becoming a fixture in the middle of Dallas' defensive front with 40 tackles, five tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, 16 pressures and a forced fumble in 17 starts. He will be counted on in 2023 to solidify the Cowboys run defense and put pressure on opposing quarterbacks up the middle.
