As a longstanding tradition, the Cowboys were proud to participate in the annual Children's Cancer Fund Fashion Show event. Cowboys Legend Troy Aikman and Quarterback Dak Prescott serve as the event's honorary chairs. In 2021 Roger Staubach officially passed on his honor as voluntary Children's Cancer Fund Gala Honorary Chair to Prescott. Cowboys Legends and Dallas Cowboys players are traditionally joined by Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and team mascot, Rowdy, who serve as celebrity escorts for the pediatric cancer patients and survivors on the runway. The event annually raises over $2 million for children's cancer research at Children's Medical Center Dallas, while creating a positive experience for dozens of children undergoing cancer treatment.
