The Cowboys and official nutrition partner Dairy MAX continue the tradition of awarding Arlington Independent School District the Fuel Up to Play 60 Hometown Grant - a $10,000 grant intended to make a significant impact on good nutrition and physical activity programming in schools. The Hometown Grant awards Fuel Up to Play 60 funding to schools to expand their nutritional messages and encourage physical activity. In 2022 the Hometown Grant was awarded to Mesquite ISD for the purchase of mobile breakfast carts to be used across their campuses to stress the importance of healthy eating in the morning.
