For three years, the NFL's My Cause, My Cleats campaign has given players the opportunity to shine light on charitable causes each player is passionate about.
The #MyCauseMyCleats campaign lets the players collaborate with shoe designers to fashion a pair of priceless cleats that you might have seen during Week 14's game against the Chicago Bears. The Cowboys had their highest year for participants with 39 players choosing a cause to display.
The anticipation for MCMC reached its peak on Unboxing Day, (Dec. 3, Giving Tuesday)when players finally got to see their ideas come to life as they unveiled the finished products. (link to the video we shared)
The NFL then gives the athletes an opportunity to fundraise for their charitable organization by auctioning off their custom cleats and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the players' charities.
Several Dallas Cowboys players took to Instagram to give fans an inside look on the organizations that have been helping families for years.
As the #MyCauseMyCleats event comes to an end, be sure to keep a look out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as they begin their #MyCauseMyBoots campaign this week.
