In his first year with the Cowboys, offensive lineman La'el Collins made blocking his specialty. He also put a large emphasis on completely pancaking his opponents.
Throughout the season he made it known to defenders to stay out of his way. Particularly when he knocked down a would-be tackler while running 45 yards down Lambeau Field at a speed that might have been faster than running back Darren McFadden.
So it only makes sense that Collins got creative and whipped up some pancake-inspired custom cleats.
The cleats were created by a custom artist and Collins says he plans to sport them in preseason warmups. Now we know the recipe for clearing running lanes is just one pair of syrupy cleats.
