Last fall, the National Medal of Honor Foundation announced that Arlington, Texas had been selected as the site for the future National Medal of Honor Museum. It would be located near Arlinton's Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium, the first national museum of its kind that would to the public in 2024.
March 25th is National Medal of Honor Day and a chance to reflect on those who have earned the most prestigious military decoration. The Medal of Honor is the highest award a member of the armed services can receive for valor in combat, given to those who went above and beyond the call of duty on the battlefield.
On Monday, Dallas Cowboys Chief Brand Officer and Executive Vice President, Charlotte Jones, was named the chairman of the National Medal of Honor Museum board. An op-ed piece written by Jones was published, as she describes her efforts and passion for the mission of building the National Medal of Honor museum and a National memorial to be built in Washington D.C.
