Didn't anyone tell Tony Romo that retirement was supposed to be relaxing? We guess not, because the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS football analyst is gearing up to take his crack at earning a Web.com Tour card.
Romo has entered the Web.com Tour qualifying tournament, which starts Wednesday morning at Lantana Golf Club in Texas. This will be the pre-qualifying stage and the start of a long road toward earning status on the Web.com tour. He is the first former athlete to try to earn a Web.com Tour card since tennis player Mardy Fish attempted to earn one in 2014. Fish didn't make it past pre-qualifiers, but Romo hopes to make it just a bit further.
