If you've watched TLC's show, The Long Island Medium, then you know who Theresa Caputo is, but did you know she grew up wanting to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader?
Theresa is in Dallas this weekend performing a live show on Saturday night and she came to Valley Ranch yesterday to take a tour. We started the tour in the cheerleader's studio and ran into their director, Kelli Finglass. Kelli gave her a pom from each of our cheerleaders from the Long Island area, Jasmine and Danielle, which are both huge fans of the show. I don't think Theresa put those poms down the entire day. After touring Valley Ranch, we headed to the stadium and went straight to the pro shop to do some shopping. What was the first item that Theresa sought out? A pair of white Lucchese boots just like the cheerleaders wear. Of course she had to put them on as soon as we got on the field so she could "cheer".
After we played on the field for a while, we headed to the DCC locker room where Theresa tried out some poses.
By the end of the day I think we talked Theresa into trying out for the DCC next year. Guess we'll have to wait and see if that happens. And you're probably wondering if she read me, the answer is no. I should have asked her if she sees a Super Bowl in the Cowboys' near future.
