It seems to me that Sterling Moore was very reliable last year and is just a "football player." Is he first in line for the No. 4 CB spot?

David: If you've read our site, particularly last summer during training camp, you know that we all sang the praises of Sterling Moore pretty often. We named him one of our top performers of last year's camp and we were positive he had a roster spot. Despite that, he was unemployed until December. I'd be cautious of saying he's the favorite for that spot, but he's certainly going to push the other guys on the roster.

Rowan: As David said, I would have pinned him for that fourth corner role early last year. He definitely has a shot at it, but I would say right now behind the top three corners, the rest of those spots are up for grabs. They'll want to see what they have in B.W. Webb and they really like what Tyler Patmon's done so far, but Moore ended up the best option last year and makes plays when he's given a chance. The Cowboys may not want to make the mistake of leaving him off the team and the field again.

Not including Tony Romo's back surgery, what are your biggest concerns on offense?

David:Probably the durability of the running back spot. DeMarco Murray looks primed to have the best year of his [embedded_ad] career, but it's still worth pointing out he has yet to play a 16-game season. Behind him on the depth chart, Lance Dunbar and Ryan Williams also have a history with injuries, and Joseph Randle has yet to prove himself capable.

Rowan: They have more to do with trust than talent. We haven't seen the Cowboys actually rely on the run very often, and with another first-round pick dedicated to the offensive line, they should have the pieces to own a dominant running attack. Now it's a matter of the play-caller and the offense trusting that running unit to do its job. The Cowboys have a quarterback who wants the ball in his hand, but maybe the surgery will make Romo and the play-callers defer to the run more often, particularly when it's been effective.
