Two former Cowboys legends made the cut for the Seniors category of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

In a reduction to 31 names, both Harvey Martin and Everson Walls were among the semifinalists.

The initial ballot included 182 former players who played in their last game in 1999 or earlier, to qualify for the Seniors category.

Walls is one of the greatest cornerbacks in team history and has the NFL record for most interceptions by a rookie with 11 in 1981. His 44 interceptions rank second in team history.

Martin was part of the Cowboys Doomsday Defense in the 70s, and earned Co-MVP of Super Bowl XII. He ranks second in team history in sacks with 114.

The next round of voting will trim the list to nine, and then eventually three will be selected for the 2025 class.
