It’s hard to find a more consistent motor in the draft class than Adisa Isaac, as his pass-rush relentlessness starts with an elite get-off at the snap and finishes with a churning effort from both his footwork and hand usage that makes any protection set have to really earn a win against him. | With his high motor, Isaac will need to add some weight to find success against power protectors as well as to sustain the wear and tear of a 17-game season. He also finds a tendency to rely on winning to the outside, even when pass-rushing lanes open up to the inside. |
OVERVIEW: Alongside Robinson, Isaac was able to help form one of the best pass-rush duos in the country in 2023 after accounting for 16 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks as a fifth-year senior. He enters the NFL owning plenty of experience with the Nittany Lions, although his 2021 campaign was wiped away with an Achilles injury he suffered ahead of the season. His athletic ability will have teams focusing on day two of the draft to potentially grab one of the higher ceiling defenders in the class.
