Great lateral mover and keeps his hands active through the whistle. Outstanding balance and footwork in pass sets, helping him stay put and control the line of scrimmage. Versatile blocker with the ability to succeed in both zone and man schemes. | A little light for the position, which leads to a lack of power. Tends to make up for it by overextending and getting his pad level high, which is easy to do at his height. Will get pushed off his spot by stronger interior defensive linemen. |
OVERVIEW: One of the top blockers in the SEC since entering the college ranks in 2021. He started at center in every game and finished with a record of 42-2 in those outings. While the talent around him certainly helped, he was a massive piece to the Bulldogs' success up front. Ended on a high note with second-team All-American honors and being awarded the SEC Jacobs Blocking Trophy. His frame and athleticism will help him get settled in the league, but his football IQ and experience is what will keep him around for a long time to come.
