Possessing elite diagnosing skills from the second level on all three downs, Colson is a feared presence for any backfield with his ability to quickly read-and-react on any offensive threat coming out from behind the line of scrimmage. | Colson can get lost in the fray with complex blocking schemes on the outside that force him to maneuver through traffic to make a play. Whether it’s a puller coming after him or the scheme washing out to his side, he can be taken out of the run game at times. |
OVERVIEW: Born in Haiti in 2002, Colson was placed in an orphanage at the age of eight before being adopted by a family in Tennessee, where he spent his teenage years. Having to adapt to English and a different way of life, Colson became a quick learner off the field before picking up skills on the field that led him to being one of the more highly recruited players out of the state of Tennessee in the class of 2021. His presence in the second level for Michigan saw him account for 245 tackles in three seasons and become a trusted leader for Jim Harbaugh.
