Arguably one of the most athletic linebackers at the combine (4.51 time in the 40-yard dash, 37.5” vertical jump, 10”7’ broad jump), Wallace could bring an athletic presence to Dallas’ second level that could help in run support as early as 2024. | Wallace will have to learn patience and better play recognition at the next level, as he typically bites on play-action and misdirection in the backfield. That leaves him out of the play as it develops into the second level. |
OVERVIEW: Wallace enters the NFL Draft as a departing junior after three seasons with the Wildcats saw him produce 166 tackles, including 18 for loss and 10 sacks. A native of Jesup, Georgia, with football in his bloodline (uncle played for Oklahoma from 2009-11), Wallace brought leadership to the Kentucky defense during his time in Lexington, which showed up in his status as captain as a junior in 2023. His four games with double-digit tackles helped Kentucky make an appearance in the Gator Bowl in 2023.
