It’s incredible what Kingsley did at the Scouting Combine. His 6-foot-5 frame charted a 5.04-second 40-yard dash. Pair that with his overpowering play strength and he brings an exciting combo to the pros. Fantastic burst off the line of scrimmage and shows range of motion. | Really struggled to find consistency with his hands and upper-body technique. Would get turned around in his pass sets and overextended on blocks that left him vulnerable. Lots to work on as a pass blocker in general to even him out as a prospect. |
OVERVIEW: While Suamataia's strength is elite, his technique is not. This makes him a high risk, high reward prospect that has a thin line between unlimited upside and a possible bust. Luckily for him, he's already shown that his power is enough to have solid production. Suamataia transferred to BYU from Oregon as a sophomore and immediately worked into the starting rotation with over 600 snaps. Then he entered his junior year with the sixth-highest blocking grade among returning offensive tackles (PFF). A number he'd improve upon in 2023.
