It’s rare that the NFL will find a prospect who can be so physical with such a compact frame. Davis does so despite standing 5-foot-10 and somehow still has gas left in the tank. He powers through contact and keeps a low center of gravity to spin away. | Despite his athletic and compact build, he doesn’t have the separation speed. Possibly it’s because he doesn’t have the long strides or because he was dealing with a lot of traffic. Will take a beating if he continues his current running style in the pros without adding weight. |
OVERVIEW: Davis has played a lot of football over his career. Two years at Temple, two more with Vanderbilt, and one final breakout season with Kentucky in 2023. He finished his career as the only active player to chart 1,000-yard seasons with three separate programs, showcasing that he can succeed in any system and against any talent level. There is a power to his game that's unmatched by many, and he's reliable in pass protection, red zone work and as a wide receiver that should make him a nice fit for any system in the NFL.
