Complete danger when he gets the ball. Flashes secure hands and impressive ability to catch away from his body, even on the run. Despite being raw at the position, all the tools are there to be a future contributor as both a receiver and on special teams. | Could add extra branches to a limited route tree. The Hilltoppers would use Corley on simple routes, mostly because that’s all they needed to send him on against simplistic competition. Probably going to be limited to the slot, not an outside guy. |
OVERVIEW: During his time with Western Kentucky, Corley went by the nickname "YAC King." A fitting descriptor of how he torched defenses on a regular basis when given some space to run with the football. Credit the WKU staff on seeing Corley as the receiver prospect he could be, moving him full-time to offense after being recruited as a cornerback initially. He rewarded the Hilltoppers by piecing together three productive seasons of playmaking ability with over 20 receiving touchdowns. Was even named the top wideout during Senior Bowl week.
