In the second round (58th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected their tight end of the future in Luke Schoonmaker. The former Michigan Wolverine finished his collegiate career with 54 receptions for 637 yards and seven touchdowns while playing in 43 games with 21 starts. He had a breakout season as a fifth-year senior in 2022, finishing second on the team in catches (35) and third in receiving yards (418) and receiving touchdowns (three) - all career-highs. In Dallas, Schoonmaker will join a tight end group ripe with youth and plenty of opportunities on the field to contribute on offense.
